Verocious Motorsports silicone hoses are manufactured with a 3-ply polyester reinforcement. This allows these silicone connectors to withstand high boost applications as well as temperatures up to 350ºF. Verocious silicone hoses are perfect for finishing off your custom intercooler and turbo installation and they make a great upgrade for direct fitment intercooler kits.

Dont be fooled by other manufacturers claims of higher temperatures, our hoses will meet or exceed their claims when comparing silicone products with the same reinforcement material; we simply prefer to be conservative in our ratings. All of the specifications and ratings for Verocious Motorsports silicone are based on continuous use, not short bursts.

What are the differences between the different reinforcement fabrics?

The main difference between the reinforcement fabrics available in silicone hose is the temperature ratings. Polyester reinforced hoses have a temperature range of -65ºF to 350ºF, aramid reinforced hoses have a temperature range of -65ºF to 500ºF, and fiberglass hoses have a temperature range of -45ºF to 500ºF. You will not find fiberglass reinforcement in any of the Verocious Motorsports hoses, as the low temperature properties are poor, and fiberglass is very brittle. We only use high quality polyester and aramid fabrics as reinforcement for our high temperature silicone hoses.
